Giving some dogs spage (Yellow dog project)

Puppy Mills - don't be an accidental supporter

This excellent article from Pets Adviser will help you spot the warning signs and avoid unwittingly supporting these cruel operations.

With so many dog foods on the market, the packaging can often be misleading as marketing experts find ways around the law to mis-sell a product using clever wording and legal loopholes. This article from the Whole Dog Journal casts some interesting aspersions on this practice and lets you read between the lines. This is based on present statutory merchandising laws in the United States, but will no doubt open your mind to spotting similar practices in the UK dog food market.
